loved the location, just a 2 min walk to the beach and close to the lighthouse. staff were friendly and rooms were comfy. enjoyed the pool and bikes too. overall, exceeded my expectations in exploring byron bay!

I had a fantastic time staying at this hostel! The community atmosphere was amazing, and I instantly felt included and made new friends during the lighthouse walk. The communal area upstairs was great for hanging out and meeting other travelers. Plus, the free parking, bikes, and body boards were a nice bonus. The staff, especially Todd and the kiwi guy, were awesome and really added to the friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hostel to solo travelers or groups.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, pool and facilities were clean, great location near the beach and Main Street, well-stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils, chill vibe with Netflix and TV in the lounge room.

The location of this hostel is amazing as it is right by the beach, making it easy to take a quick jump into the ocean whenever you want. It is also within a short walking distance to the main beach, perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. Additionally, the hostel is close to the nightlife, so you can easily explore the bars and clubs in the area.

There was some noise from a nearby dive center, which could be disruptive especially in the early mornings.

The pool was nice and the location near the beach and lighthouse made it convenient. The staff were friendly and the rooms comfortable with a good-sized bathroom. The lounge area was great and it had amenities like bikes to use. Convenient for Greyhound bus users.

We also appreciated the tours and ticket assistance available, helping us make the most of our time in this beautiful area. The room amenities were top-notch, with air conditioning, a balcony, and free Wi-Fi, providing enhanced comfort and convenience. The garden furniture on the terrace was a nice touch, allowing us to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Great value for money, with both beach and town just a short walk away. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, offering free walking tours with knowledgeable guides and free rental of bikes and bodyboards. The pool is also a great addition to the facilities.

Bathrooms were not always clean and could be unpleasant, and there were sometimes noisy events that made it difficult to sleep at night. Rooms at the back of the hostel could get quite hot compared to those facing the pool.

I absolutely loved my recent stay at Cape Byron Hostel Yha in Byron Bay. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our last-minute trip for the Blues Music Festival. Despite it being a busy time, they managed to find us a bed for the entire weekend. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and away from the noise. The clean toilets and showers were a bonus, and the affordability during peak season was impressive. This hostel is a must for beach lovers! I highly recommend Cape Byron Hostel Yha for an unforgettable stay.

Stayed at a cool and clean hostel with a lovely pool area and close proximity to the beach. The shared bathrooms were regularly cleaned. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was brilliant, with shops, bars, restaurants. Parking was available, and there was a spacious kitchen area and comfy sofa areas. The bed was also comfortable, and I enjoyed using the hostel amenities even after checkout.

No air conditioning in the room made it uncomfortable to sleep in 30-degree weather with only a small fan.

It was also a bit frustrating that there weren't enough cutlery, especially knives that actually cut. the limited number of bathrooms led to crowding during peak hours.
