Great location and friendly staff make for a decent stay in the heart of the city. The family room was spacious and well equipped with Foxtel TV. The pool had some shallow areas which was perfect for the children.

The parking situation is a hassle and narrow to navigate. Some of the structural elements of the room such as the toilet seat and shower door were not functioning optimally, and the lighting was a bit odd.

The location of this hotel is excellent, right next to the Entertainment Centre and in the heart of the CBD. It is also within easy walking distance to main shops and restaurants on Mitchell St. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of bench and shelving space. The air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable. Additionally, the building was secure with gates and required keys for access.

At night, the area outside the hotel felt a little dark and could benefit from more lighting.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location in the center of the CBD is ideal, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and public transport. The rooms, although compact, are well-equipped with a comfortable queen-size bed, fridge, and microwave. Despite the heat in Darwin, the air conditioning ensures a comfortable stay. Additionally, having breakfast included is a wonderful bonus.

All was acceptable, no major issues to mention.

We were pleasantly surprised by our last-minute availability at Capitanos. Despite the excessive price during peak season, we found the room to be spacious enough for two of us. The abundance of bench and shelving space made unpacking a breeze. The air conditioning kept us cool in the hot weather, and the water pressure in the shower was decent. Plus, we enjoyed the variety of Foxtel channels available. The location was slightly away from the main hustle and bustle, but still within easy walking distance of hostels, bars, and other attractions. We appreciated having good food options right on our doorstep, and being next to the Entertainment Centre was a bonus for catching a show. our stay at Capitanos was comfortable and convenient.

While our room had its positives, there were a few repairs needed that would have made it shine. The shower head kept falling down, and we only had one bedside table.
