The value for money at Mad Cat was fantastic, with cozy and clean rooms. The location was convenient, surrounded by good eateries, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

We had the most wonderful experience at this hostel. Mad Cat Hostel & Bar is easily accessible by public transport, only a short 2-5 minute walk from the subway station. The hosts made us feel more like friends than guests, creating a cozy and welcoming homestay atmosphere. We even had the opportunity to meet their friends, making our experience truly inclusive. The whole group, including the friendly guests, had a great time together, sharing drinks and laughs. The two resident cats, Kougou and Maru, each had unique personalities. While Kougou preferred her space, Maru was super soft and absolutely okay with being petted. we had an amazing time and can't wait to come back to this warm and friendly hostel on our next visit to Osaka.

And let's not forget the cats, Maru and Kado, who added so much joy to our stay. we enjoyed every second of our time there.
