I had an amazing stay at the Ascend Hotel in the heart of the city. The old-world charm and elegant furnishings created a peaceful and stylish atmosphere. I loved the comfortable lobby with its intimate spaces and the beautifully decorated breakfast room with real napkins. The rooftop garden idea for cocktails and nibbles is superb! The location was perfect, within walking distance of the St. James railway station and the CBD for shopping. The concierge was helpful in providing room options, and my room was ready before the check-in time. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location, short walk to multiple railway stations and major retail stores. Room was clean, quiet, and had a window to open for fresh air. Comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. The charming and deco foyer creates a welcoming atmosphere. The beautifully appointed dining room serves a lovely breakfast with delicious coffe and breads. Front desk was very welcoming. The room was smaller than expected, and the noise from a nearby music venue on Saturday night was disruptive and required the use of earplugs. The sliding door in the bathroom did not provide much privacy, as noises could easily be heard from the bedroom.
