I traveled with my family and stayed at City Terraces for a few days. The hosts, Will and Lynn, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided us with a cot, highchair, and pushchair for our 17-month-old at a small charge. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had air conditioning in all rooms. We loved the pool and the convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from the central shopping center and train station. The free undercover carpark was a bonus. We also appreciated the thoughtful idea of leaving essential items for other guests. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms exceeded our expectations. The hotel facilities, including the beautiful pool and BBQ area, were a great addition to our experience. Another positive aspect was the location, just a short walk from the railway station to Kuranda and a big shopping center. It was also centrally located, making it easy to access all the attractions in this city. Lastly, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The location of the hotel was excellent, close to the city center but away from the noise. The apartment had a beautiful view of the pool and the balcony was spacious. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for tours and activities. The secure off-street parking was a bonus.

There were some issues with cigarette smoke from the neighboring balcony, which forced us to close our apartment and lose the natural ventilation. The non-smoking rule stated in the compendium was not enforced by some guests.

We stayed at City Terraces for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was perfect - quiet yet close to amenities and amazing restaurants. The spacious and clean apartment had all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning. I had a great stay at the apartments and would definitely choose to stay there again if I visit Cairns. The staff at City Terraces were extremely helpful and offered a warm welcome. They provided me with excellent advice on car hire and guided me in choosing the best trip companies to use. The apartment itself was clean and well-presented, and the air conditioning and ceiling fans ensured a comfortable stay. I enjoyed a refreshing swim in the good-sized swimming pool and found the large, free, and secure garage to be a useful facility. The location of the apartments, near a major supermarket and the bus/train stations, was very convenient.

City Terraces is a great place to stay with friends. The location is perfect, being close to the railway station and waterfront, and within walking distance of the center, botanical gardens, and a big shopping center. We rented a car for our stay and found that the location of the hotel was still within working distance to the sea. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids, and we were able to cook breakfast in the room. The site management staff were incredibly welcoming and provided us with great ideas for activities in the area. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The location was also great, with the esplanade, shops, food, and the Aquarium all within walking distance. The pool and BBQ area were clean and enjoyable, and the share shelf in the hallway was very handy.

We felt well taken care of during our stay and have no complaints.
