the clarendon is super clean and conveniently located in South Melbourne. the staff are exceptional - welcoming, and very helpful. beds are amazingly comfy and the rooftop bar is a must-visit! walking distance to South Melbourne markets.

The location is fantastic with easy access to South Melbourne market area. The room was large and clean, perfect for our needs. Although the check-in process was a bit impersonal, the DIY system was efficient. Despite some issues, the potential for a great stay was evident with ongoing renovations and spacious accommodations.

Stayed at a hotel in an amazing location for a weekend getaway. the enormous, beautifully styled room was a delightful retreat with sunshine streaming in and the most perfect bed. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-placed, showing attention to detail. the friendly staff were super accommodating and the private restaurant/bar rooftop terrace was a great spot to relax.

It was also within walking distance of the city centre and there was a tram stop right outside for easy transportation. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a separate kitchen and shower room. The staff were friendly and always available to assist with any issues or provide helpful advice. The shower had excellent water pressure and there was plenty of hot water. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

We found the noise level to be very high, with a rooftop bar causing noise disturbances throughout the night. the lift was out of order, and the kitchen tap didn't work.

Another highlight of my stay was the proximity to the city center, the river, and the South Melbourne Market, making it easy to explore the local attractions and enjoy great dining options. Despite the ongoing renovations, my experience at the hotel was excellent, and I would definitely consider staying here again.
