Our Cockburn House stay was delightful. the whole house was a fantastic value, with welcoming hosts making us feel at home. Cooking meals was a treat, and the classic 4 poster bed was so comfy. Relaxing in the garden and enjoying the stars was a highlight. Near Memorial Park and Bundaleer Channel, a good base for family bonding.

What a gem of a place! the house was cozy, like having your own little mansion with all the fixings - even breakfast stuff in the kitchen. the huge backyard with a BBQ area and expansive lawn made chillin' out a breeze. Only thing missing was a fancy coffee maker to make the mornings extra special. 🌿.

we had the whole house to ourselves, like house sitting. everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided, including breakfast condiments and a fully equipped kitchen. the classic 4 poster bed was very cozy, and the fully ducted air conditioning was a bonus in winter. located close to shops and fantastic heysen trail walks, it was a great base to explore the area.

I recently stayed at a wonderfully comfortable old house, filled with the character and charm of the area. The owners have done a fantastic job preserving this piece of history. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were fluffy, ensuring we had a restful sleep. The large kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals, and there was even cooking oil and jam in the fridge. The house had a piano room and two fireplaces, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well, keeping us warm during our stay. We also appreciated the provisions for breakfast and the availability of laundry facilities. The spacious grounds and lovely lawn provided a peaceful and relaxing setting. I highly recommend this place for those who appreciate old-world charm and a comfortable stay.

The house we stayed at had a lot of space as it had four bedrooms, and it was very affordable. the kitchen was well equipped with lots of utensils, and there was also a beautiful living room. the house is located in a pleasant area, and there were lots of attractions to see. the bed was very comfortable, and we had a peaceful night's sleep.

Despite being a huge house, there were no instructions or guidance available for the guests. We had trouble figuring everything out, and it would have been helpful to have some introductions to the house and area.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just a short walk to the shops and amenities in the area. The room is comfortable with fluffy towels and warm quilts. The bathroom has a great shower with good water pressure. The service is welcoming and approachable, with hosts who are working hard to preserve the history of the place. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and there are even complimentary items like bread, butter, and milk.

Some of the ceilings and cracks in the hotel need some work.
