Our stay at this hotel was a pleasant surprise. the value for money was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the hotel. We loved the location, surrounded by a charming garden and a historic building. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The basic amenities in our room were well-maintained, and we particularly enjoyed the large, comfortable bed with a view of the beautiful garden area. It was also great to have access to the BBQ facilities. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying.

Our stay at the motel was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. They even left windscreen cleaning sponges out, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was perfect, just a short stroll into town for meals or to visit the nearby restaurant. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a lovely outdoor balcony to enjoy the sunset. We absolutely loved our 4-day stay in the Coonawarra wine region!

loved our stay at this motel in Penola. Surpassed our expectations with quick hot water, comfortable bed, and little noise. Appreciated the helpful owner and spacious room with a desk, microwave, and toaster. Excellent service and a very good night's stay!

parking was chaotic

We spent our Christmas holidays at a hotel that was reasonably priced. the shower with good water pressure was a real plus and we appreciated there being enough space to eat our snacks without cluttering the room. we enjoyed staying at the hotel as it was located close to many tourist spots and it made exploring the area simple.

The room we booked didn't have enough space for the two of us, yet it had a big table that blocked the sliding door. the bathroom was a safety hazard with a slippery full bath with overhead shower.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive away from the local wineries and shopping street. Guests can easily explore the surrounding attractions and indulge in wine tasting sessions. The rooms offer a comfortable stay with their clean and well-maintained condition. The friendly owners provide excellent service and are always willing to assist with any requests. The beautiful gardens and courtyard offer a peaceful and relaxing environment for guests to enjoy.

The bathroom decor could use an update to match the overall charm of the hotel.
