I loved the proximity to the water and the mini golf with a surprise blue tongue lizard. the park offered great entertainment options like putt-putt, pool, and trivia nights. the beach access was fantastic for family bonding, and the cabin, although cozy, had all the essentials.

I felt like a modern-day explorer discovering Ballina's Big Prawn and indulging in local produce. the cabin's patio was perfect for my afternoon tea.

Couldn't play pool at night; apparently, the cues enjoyed early bedtime.

The cabin we stayed in was spotless, equipped with a great kitchen, and the air conditioning was top-notch. the park was super family-friendly with lots of activities for the kids and a beautiful riverside location. Despite the cozy cabin, the bunk beds were a bit cramped with bedding neatly stacked. a great spot for a relaxing getaway with fantastic staff and fun activities for the family! 🌳

During my recent stay at this hotel, I had an amazing experience that surpassed my expectations. the staff were incredibly warm and helpful, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. the outdoor dining area outside our cabin was a lovely spot to enjoy breakfasts and unwind. the laundry facilities were convenient, and the garden area was beautifully maintained. the location was fantastic, close to a beach with easy access and just a short drive to town center. the rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat overlooking the tranquil lake. the service and amenities here were excellent, making for a truly enjoyable stay.

the cleanliness of the pool area could have been better, and some of the common areas and kids play areas could do with a refresh.

Just had the best time at that hotel near the waterfront in East Ballina. the staff were incredible, and the beach access was even better than the photos! DEFINITELY going back.

My wife says that adding more shaded areas near the playground would be ideal.

Mini golf and pool vibes were epic, like seriously, we could not get enough! the beach was a chill spot to catch some waves too. Oh, and the craft activities were low-key fun – made some sick souvenirs! Can't wait to hit up this spot again for another round of crazy good times!

Only thing missing was a cool on-site DJ or sick party spot for late-night hangs. Pls hook it up with some party vibes for us fun-lovin' peeps!

the rooms were clean and modern - with everything we needed. location was perfect - close to the beach and easy to get around. staff were lovely, and the communal kitchen was well-supplied. loved the movie night for some chill time.

The 6 berth cabin was adequate for 2 people. Convenient location for beach and break wall walks. Laundry facilities were easy to use. Leaking kettle was quickly replaced. Quiet park at night.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The location was perfect, being right on the shore of Shaw's Bay, and it was so convenient to everything in Ballina. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed like air conditioning, a sitting area, and a patio. We loved the outdoor swimming pool and the beach access, and the staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Spent my thanksgiving at a wonderful location. the view from the cabin was amazing, surrounded by greenery and nature. the proximity to activities offered was a plus for kids, while the adults could relax and enjoy nature. the cabin was well maintained and clean with excellent amenities. It was great for families to enjoy a serene and quiet environment.

The high activity deposit charges. While the bunk bed setup was fine, it was time-consuming to make our own beds.

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday park. The location was perfect, with the beach just a short walk away and the river right nearby. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff provided excellent service, making check-in and out easy and helping us with any requests we had. The amenities and activities available, such as the waterpark, heated pool, and mini golf, added to the enjoyment of our stay. a great experience.

That the park mostly had park models, which gave it a slightly bland atmosphere.

I was initially disappointed when I arrived at the cabin and realized it didn't have the water view I had hoped for. However, the staff at Discovery Parks were incredibly helpful and understanding. They upgraded me to a beautiful cabin on the waterfront at no extra cost. The service was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The amenities, such as the pool and the location, were also fantastic. I had a relaxing and enjoyable experience at Discovery Parks and would highly recommend it.
