The Wi-Fi connection in the room was a bit spotty at times, making it difficult to stay connected for extended periods.

I chose this hotel for attending a product showcase because it provides a museum that showcases the life and work of Tasmanian radio astronomer, Grote Reber. Enjoyed sharing this beautiful spot overlooking the Coal River Valley.

We had a fantastic stay at Discovery Parks. The cabin we booked was neat, tidy, and perfect for our budget. The check-in process was seamless, and the manager provided us with all the information we needed. The cabin was warm, the beds were comfy, and the shower had great pressure. We also appreciated the convenient location, which made it easy for us to explore Hobart with our car. we were very happy with our visit.

This hotel offers excellent value for money with their large budget cabins. We stayed in one and found it to be very clean and well equipped. Although there wasn't a washing machine in the cabin, they have a communal laundry facility available. The staff here are fantastic, especially Emma at the reception. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to assist us when we had a small problem with our telephone. The hotel also provides basic amenities and the rooms are well-designed, with four bunks for the kids and a separate main bedroom for the adults. Another great feature is the balcony with a good view, where we enjoyed our breakfast every morning.

The only minor improvement I can suggest is a complete refurbishment of the cabins, as ours was a tad old and shabby.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, as it was situated on top of a very steep hill, which offered stunning views of the surrounding area. It was also fairly close to Hobart city centre and all the attractions, making it convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast provided was delicious. The facilities, such as the bottle shop and pub, were conveniently located at the end of the driveway.

The lack of phone reception and poor wifi connectivity was a major drawback. Despite being given wifi passwords, accessing the internet from my room was impossible due to the distance from the wifi source.

During Christmas, we stayed at a cabin that was located in a lush and tranquil setting surrounded by tall trees. the facilities were amazing, especially for families with young children. There were various playgrounds suitable for all ages, including a big jumping mat, swings, and even a mini-golf course. We also enjoyed having a balcony around our unit.

Our experience was not entirely positive. We had to collect our single bed sheets from the reception, which was inconvenient.
