The street noise, as my room was located on the ground floor. The constant traffic and loud conversations outside could be a bit disruptive, especially late at night.

All was perfect.

I had such a lovely stay at this hotel! the value for money is incredible. The prices are very reasonable and you definitely get your money's worth. Secondly, the attention to detail is impressive, with the English manor house style and decor adding to the overall experience. Not to mention the amazing breakfast - there's something to cater for all diets and the Tasmanian raspberry jam is a must-try! Lastly, the location is perfect, close to the Redline bus station and with an English feel that's hard to come by these days.

Enjoyed the central location of the accommodation, which was perfect for exploring the city's main attractions on foot. the complimentary breakfast and kitchen facilities were appreciated, as they reduced the need to eat out for every meal. the free Wi-Fi was very useful too, as it allowed us to stay connected with family and friends back home.

The accommodation was spread over three levels with no elevator, which was a bit of an inconvenience for us since we had heavy luggage. the noise from the busy street outside was audible from our room, which made it challenging to sleep at times.

The room at Edinburgh Gallery B&B was spacious and charming, including the lovely breakfast room. the bathroom was clean, and John, the host, was incredibly welcoming. the B&B is located on a busy street, but our room was quiet at night. the parking is limited, but there is untimed on-street parking available after 6pm nearby. the location is within walking distance to the town center and Salamanca Market. it was the best accommodation during our trip, with comfortable rooms and a friendly owner.
