A hilarious incident occurred with the electric kettle in the room - it had a personality of its own, refusing to boil water until we gave it some "encouragement" by singing our best rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" to it. the next morning, it cooperated perfectly, almost as if it enjoyed our performance!
