I had the most wonderful time staying at this incredible hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by picturesque gardens and sitting right by the river. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The gift shop, where we had breakfast, was filled with the most amazing assortment of gifts. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel like part of the family. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything from ironing facilities to a flat-screen TV. I especially loved the terrace and garden furniture, perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

I highly recommend this hotel to families.

I had the most amazing stay at a historic homestead overlooking a tranquil river. The beautiful gardens, filled with art and treasures, transported me to a bygone era. The owner's hilarious stories made breakfast in the charming old barn even more delightful. I can't wait to come back for my wedding anniversary in the romantic Cooks Retreat. I highly recommend this place for history, nature, art, and shopping lovers.

The property has good coffee and friendly staff. The gardens and views were stunning, really beautiful. The location close to local shops and restaurants was very convenient.

The breakfast was not great, pretty basic bacon and eggs which gets old quickly if you're staying for a few days. , some of the decor was a bit strange and off-putting.
