Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

franklin manor was even better than i expected. the staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. the continental breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh danish. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for a winter getaway. the sitting rooms with open fireplaces were a cozy touch. the view from the back verandah was so calming.

My recent stay at a lovely homely retreat was absolutely delightful! From the moment I arrived, Christine and Craig, the hosts, made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Christine even helped me with reservations and provided valuable local knowledge for my day trips.

The location of the hotel was convenient, with restaurants and Hogarth Falls within walking distance. The bedrooms were spacious and had lovely views of the green surroundings through the large bay windows. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing warm greetings at the reception. The honor bar was a clever option for guests.

The shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, which was inconvenient.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm welcome and personal attention. The spacious and clean room was equipped with everything we needed, including a flat-screen TV and cozy electric kettle. The stunning gardens and verandah provided the perfect setting to relax with friends and enjoy a glass of wine. We can't wait to come back and indulge in all the amazing features this adults-only gem has to offer, including the bar/lounge, restaurant, and tennis court. We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, even arranging a chiropractic appointment for my partner who was experiencing back pain. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the dining room each morning and had a fantastic time socializing with other guests over a few glasses of wine in the evening. The beautiful garden added to the overall charm of this place, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere.

The location of the hotel was great. It was central to all the amenities in town and very close to the walking track. the honesty bar was a nice touch and convenient. the history of the house added to the charm of the place.

The house was quite cold, both in the public areas and in the rooms. the breakfast served in the central hallway was a bit too noisy with people talking early in the morning.
