Spending New Year at this rural accommodation was a fantastic idea. the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. the gardens were beautiful for a leisurely morning stroll while admiring the scenery. the continental breakfast served every morning was an excellent start to our day. the location was perfect, just a short drive to all the local attractions we wanted to visit.

The room lacked some standard amenities, such as air conditioning and a TV or fridge, which made our stay a little less comfortable during hot weather conditions. the screen doors also didn't function correctly and allowed some pesky bugs to enter at night.

We had a delightful stay at Hawk's Nest B&B, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. The country breakfast was exceptional, with homemade marmalade and a charming dining room. The host made us feel welcome and the tea served in a silver teapot was a special touch. Despite the lack of air conditioning in the room, the fan provided some relief. The only downside was the broken screens on the French doors that led to some insects in the room at night. I highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing weekend getaway.
