Housekeeping was inconsistent with making the bed and topping up teas, room cleaning could have been better. Long queues and slow elevators during peak times. The view from the room was great, staff were friendly and helpful.

The entry to the hotel/lobby desk was a bit confusing, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel had just opened four days before my arrival, and it was very clean and well-maintained. The staff at the reception, elevator, and cleaning team were all very friendly and helpful. The room had a good view of the city, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast provided a good selection of cereals, bread, croissants, eggs, baked beans, yogurt. The location of the hotel, close to Southern Cross Station, was convenient for exploring the city. The night-light in the bathroom was a nice touch, making it easy to find your way in the dark. Despite a few minor issues with the room design and payment process, I would still recommend the Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins for its overall good experience.

Complementary breakfast had a wide variety of options. the hotel location was right next to the train station and bus terminal making getting around easy. the gym had a decent amount of equipment.

The bed was uncomfortable and seemed old. the room was not well serviced as it was not cleaned on the first day and toiletries were not replenished.

The buffet breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a lovely shower. I was impressed with the quality of service and amenities provided at this venue.
