Indulging in the afternoon tea buffet at the Tea Lounge was like stepping back in time, surrounded by Art Deco charm. I felt like a fancy lady! Also, the hotel is conveniently located near bars, restaurants, and shops.

Oh, and I absolutely hated the fact that I couldn't have an informal coffee shop experience. How am I supposed to be posh without my proper afternoon tea?

The location of the hotel was excellent, as it was close to Old Parliament House and around the lake. It was also conveniently located to all the main tourist attractions in the city. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious, with deep soaking baths and good-sized showers. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, making the experience worthwhile and valuable. Additionally, the bar fridge and mini bar were well stocked with a nice variety of drinks.

The plumbing in the building seemed to be a problem, as it caused significant screeching noises, which affected the quality of sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra. the location was perfect, with easy access to parks, Lake Burley Griffin, Questacon, and various art galleries. the twin bed room was lovely and the bathroom was spectacular. the staff, from the concierge and porter to the reception and check-in staff, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast and coffee, as well as the pleasant public areas. the hotel itself had a charming ambiance, with the beautiful art deco design adding to the experience.
