We had a fantastic stay at the Saltbush Retreat Villa. the staff were lovely and the location near tourist attractions was convenient. the beds were comfortable and the colonial feel of the accommodation added to its charm. the owners have clearly invested in creating a stylish and unique environment. the room was well thought out with thoughtful little extras. We especially loved the outdoor bath deck. the retreat also offers great outback experiences such as the Cobb & Co ride and the Captain Starlight River Cruise. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at a unique accommodation in Longreach and had a fantastic time. The 'slab huts' we stayed in were well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the QANTAS Founders Museum and Stockmans Hall of Fame. We loved the self-catering facilities, which made it easy for us to cook and dine at our convenience. The highlight of our stay was definitely the outdoor bathtub where we enjoyed soaking under the night sky with a glass of wine. We highly recommend this accommodation option and look forward to seeing what the new owners have in store for the future. One small suggestion would be to have a selection of food and drinks available for purchase at reception, especially for guests arriving without a car. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend staying in one of the slab huts at this unique accommodation.

The staff were excellent and provided great service. They even called ahead to inform us about check-in procedures and upgraded our cabin to accommodate our group. the room was clean and had WiFi, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We also liked that the hotel was located near key attractions such as the Qantas Museum and Stockman's Hall of Fame.

Some of the furnishings in the cabin were outdated and need updating. the couch had a rip and just had a sheet covering it, and several blinds were broken.

We stayed at Saltbush Retreat Villa and it was absolutely amazing! the interior of the premium rooms, Homestead and Pioneer slab huts, was beautifully designed. the Pioneer slab huts made of real wood gave us a true outback experience, while the larger Homestead rooms had a fantastic bathroom. Walking into the accommodation, our immediate reaction was "WOW". the location was also perfect, right next to the Qantas museum and Stockman museum. One of the highlights was the outdoor bathtubs where we could relax, enjoy a drink, and gaze at the stars. the shower was great and the bed and pillows provided utmost comfort. In terms of convenience, it was easy to access both the Qantas museum and Stockmans Hall of Fame. We were also happy with the cooking facilities, including the BBQ outside.

The room I stayed in at Saltbush Retreat was very clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The staff were excellent and provided great service. Additionally, the location of the retreat was excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.
