We recently stayed for two nights as a family getaway, and it was a good experience. The motel’s location made it easy to explore nearby shops and eateries, and we enjoyed the stunning view of the lake from our spacious room. The family suite was well-equipped with basic kitchen facilities and boasted a comfortable double bed plus a separate room for the kids. Michael, the host, was welcoming and provided us with great local tips. The clean outdoor area with swings and a barbecue added extra charm to our trip.

Slept like a log in the quiet room, though missing a cup or two for a bedtime brew. No one in sight, felt like the last one on earth. the communal BBQ tempted me, but rain dashed my grilling dreams. Simple and clean, but oh – no wifi! the lake view and easy stroll to cafes made me chirpy. Owners were lovely, you could tell they cared. Tricky parking, but worth it for the seals nearby! Cheers from a tea-loving Belgian wanderer.

The location was fantastic, right across from the water. Our room was upgraded to a spacious two bedroom apartment at no extra charge. It was spotlessly clean and had excellent heating. the bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We were able to easily reach the owners via phone and their instructions were clear and helpful. we highly recommend Lakeside Motel Waterfront for a great four night stay.

lakeside motel waterfront was a fantastic experience! the manager and his wife were super helpful and friendly, giving us great advice and even lending us equipment for crab catching. felt like a second home with bbq facilities and cooking equipment provided. will definitely be returning!

Cleanliness and comfort of the room with heating and cooling systems, great bed for a good sleep quality. The friendly and accommodating staff who provided helpful information about the area. The location was excellent, centrally located with easy access to nearby restaurants and a supermarket.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, even though we arrived late. the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. the location was perfect, close to town and with a beautiful view of the lake. the free wifi was a nice bonus. We would definitely recommend the Lakeside Motel for short stays.

I had a fantastic stay at this lakeside motel. The rooms were incredibly clean and the host, Michael, was friendly and always willing to help. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the esplanade and with plenty of dining options nearby. The room had a basic kitchen setup with a microwave, fridge, and kettle, and there was also a covered outdoor area with a stove and BBQs for cooking. Check-in was easy and efficient, and Michael emphasized that he was available if we needed anything. great value for money and a highly recommended place to stay.
