The location of the hotel was really convenient, with plenty of nearby options for eating and drinking. It was also just a short walk to the mall and city center. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant stay.

One downside was the inconsistency in late checkouts. We were told there were no late checkouts, but then we found out that another couple had been given one.

The rooftop bar wasn't open at the advertised times, which was a disappointment. Also, they should offer guests the option to not have towels changed daily.

The hotel had a strong sewer smell upon check-in which was unpleasant. However, the smell dissipated later in the evening.

The Majestic Roof Garden Hotel in Adelaide was like a home away from home. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had a separate bath and walk-in shower, and a unique Japanese screen. The hotel was conveniently located near the mall, festival theatre, public transport, great eating places, and attractions like Adelaide Oval. The roof garden was a nice spot to enjoy a sunset.

For us, it was ideal.
