The hotel's location near Wynyard Station in the CBD area makes it extremely convenient for exploring the city. It is within walking distance of many attractions, and there are plenty of dining options and shopping centres nearby. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet is good, and there are ample facilities available for a comfortable stay.

The hallways leading to the rooms could use some improvement, as they are narrow, dark, and sometimes untidy.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right next to Wynyard Station, making it convenient to take a train from the airport. It is also close to great shops and everything you could want in this city. Additionally, it is very close to the main train station, which is a huge plus.

The lounge/restaurant area lacked ambiance and felt a bit underwhelming. Had to ask for more toilet paper multiple times, which was a bit frustrating.

Couldn't stay longer

I recently stayed at Mercure in Sydney for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location was amazing, with beautiful views of Crown Casino and Centrepoint Tower. The staff were excellent, going above and beyond to accommodate us during a power failure and providing us with a delicious breakfast. The beds were really comfortable, and the hotel was within walking distance to popular attractions like Circular Quay and The Rocks. a pleasurable experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is located in the heart of the CBD area, right next to the Wynyard station. It’s very convenient with direct train lines to get to other parts of the city including the airport. It’s also easy to get around by foot with many shops, restaurants and attractions nearby. The room is spacious, clean and well-maintained with comfortable bedding and large windows offering great views of the city. The hotel staff is polite and accommodating, making for a pleasant experience overall.

The elevators can be slow and small during peak hours, causing some inconvenience for guests.

The location of this hotel is really convenient. It's just a few meters away from the train station, so getting there from the airport was a breeze. Plus, it's right in the CBD, so you can easily get to most places in the city in a short amount of time. The staff here are absolutely brilliant - they could not do enough for you. They were friendly and polite, and even used our names wherever possible, which was a really nice touch. The service provided by the staff was top-notch. The room amenities were great. The heating and air conditioning worked perfectly, and there were tea and coffee facilities available. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment. The dining options at this place were also impressive, with a restaurant and a bar/lounge area available. it was a great value for money.

The only downside I could think of about this hotel is that there were some issues with the age of the building. However, the staff were very efficient and did everything they could to make up for it.

This hotel is in a great area, extremely close to Wynyard station. The rooms are well-equipped with kitchen facilities, and the huge double bed with very comfortable beds & pillows is a plus. Breakfast is included with all options available, including hot and cold options.

This hotel is great, but there is room for improvement in the attention to small details like stale breakfast cereal.
