The off-road parking and quiet location of Barnfield Bed and Breakfast made it ideal for us as a couple with bikes and a roof box. The rooms were clean, the hosts were friendly, and there was a lovely garden at the back. We loved that there was a pub within walking distance that served food and had a pool table. Additionally, the location was convenient for exploring the New Forest and nearby attractions like Breamore House.

There were two great pubs nearby, one just 2 minutes away and a gastro-pub within a 10-minute walk. the room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the garden. the breakfast served was superb, and we highly recommend this B&B for a pleasant stay.

The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep and the triple glazing helped to minimize noise from the road. Conveniently located within walking distance of a great restaurant and close to beautiful New Forest walks and activities.

just returned from a wonderful stay in downton and barnfield exceeded our expectations. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. the room was spacious with comfy beds and a lovely en-suite. our daughter loved the toys in the conservatory. the breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated her request for a bacon sandwich. couldn't recommend enough!
