The dining table was a great feature, and the flat-screen TV had both an am/fm alarm clock and a Chromecast feature for streaming entertainment. The room overall definitely exceeded our expectations. The views were absolutely gorgeous and it was a joy to be so high up to see the buildings. The bed was very comfortable, the room layout/cleanliness was on point and the facilities were easy to use. The location was excellent with easy access to multiple trains of public transport. The staff were lovely and accommodating, especially when we asked for extra cleaning in our room. I highly recommend The Merton on Sussex Street to traveling friends and family.

Although the room was wonderful, it would have been nice to have more face washes provided, considering there were two of us. Having an option for white sugar instead of just brown would also be a nice addition.

The only minor issue I encountered was that the hotel could be more eco-friendly by not replacing towels daily and using refillable shampoo and shower gel containers rather than miniatures being provided every day. this hotel is an exceptional stay for anyone looking for luxurious amenities and service.
