I recently stayed at this hotel on the Pacific Highway and I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The prices were reasonable and the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were functional and although they weren't brand new, they were clean and comfortable. I especially liked the fact that they provided a microwave and AC in the room, as well as a tray of breakfast items that was replenished every day. And let me tell you, the view from the rooms with a balcony overlooking the gardens was absolutely stunning!

Great location near the beach and town, plus close to other cafes and shops. The vintage charm of the hotel itself was nice, the original features gave a cozy feel to the place. The pink bathroom tiles and the landscape mural added character and quirkiness, giving it a fun and different ambiance.

They charged a lot for a basic room with not much amenities. We had roadblocks and ash because of the fires which spoilt the fun, so it was not worth how expensive it was.
