Northern Arts Hotel provided a lovely stay in Castlemaine. Our room was clean, cosy and comfortable. Our hosts were both kind and accommodating. the generous breakfast in the morning was a big bonus. This charming hotel is close to the Botanical Gardens and the Mill. Its just over a 10 minute stroll to the CBD. the cozy bar downstairs and the room full of antiques added to the old-world atmosphere, creating a very friendly vibe. the veranda was a great spot to enjoy Castlemaine's craft beers in the evening, enhancing our relaxation. the local landmarks like Victory Park, the Left Bank Gallery, and Old Castlemaine Gaol were within walking distance, perfect for family bonding.

My partner and I had a lovely time at Northern Arts during our short stay. the old-style charm and beautiful artwork added to the cozy feel. the comfortable bed and room, along with the warm hosts, made us feel right at home. the location was ideal, not too close to the town but peaceful. the cleanliness and the firm, super comfortable bed were outstanding. the owner was friendly and the upstairs balcony was a cool spot to relax. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the hotel's proximity to the Botanical Gardens and the Mill complex made exploring easy.

Just stayed at a hotel not far from Castlemaine center. LOVED the fantastic artwork. Found the rooms immaculately clean. Would choose it again. Even better in person!

I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and I was thoroughly impressed. The location was superb, with the hotel situated at the north end of town near all the attractions. The service was top-notch, with attentive housekeeping and friendly staff. The room amenities were excellent, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. I also enjoyed the sitting area and terrace, which provided a peaceful place to relax. The breakfast provided was delicious and catered to all my needs. I had a wonderful experience at this place and would highly recommend it to anyone.

It's hard to find any flaws with this hotel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The beef dishes at local joints like Das Kaffeehaus and Cabosse & Feve Chocolates are straight-up legendary. Plus, the free brekky at the hotel is a real treat. On top of that, the cozy bar downstairs is perfect for winding down with a local craft brew after a day of exploring.

I loved the country casual feel of the hotel and the relaxed lounge area. When I arrived, I was greeted by a cozy real log fire, which instantly made me feel welcome. The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The spacious and clean room, along with the comfortable king bed and good quality linen, provided a perfect place to relax. Additionally, the self-serve breakfast made mornings easy. The hotel's location was also convenient, being within walking distance to the township.

Had a pleasant stay during Easter. Loved the comfortable bed and the breakfast. the hotel was located close to town and the botanical gardens. the manager was extremely friendly and helpful.

The shower was difficult to regulate and the noise from the fridge downstairs was disturbing. It was also hard to have a conversation due to the noise levels.

I was impressed by the spacious and comfortable room provided. the decor was unique, with old Christmas tree boxes serving as storage units. there was a water bottle already half empty for us, a thoughtful touch for tired travelers.

I found the price of $175 per night to be quite expensive for the amenities and location provided.

Excellent bed and pillows, clean rooms, great art, generous continental breakfast, barista coffee.

Nothing that I didn't like.
