This hotel is conveniently located close to all the shops and reasonably close to the city centre. It is also away from the pub, ensuring a quiet stay. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with considerate and cheerful staff providing excellent service. Undercover parking is available and the staff are always friendly.

One negative aspect is the inefficient and limited Wi-Fi service, which requires payment and has a restrictive 24-hour cycle.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, as it was close to everything we needed in town. The staff at the front counter were incredibly sweet and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was luxurious and provided enhanced comfort. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we especially enjoyed the balcony where we could relax and take in the surroundings. The amenities in the room, such as the ironing facilities and air conditioning, were top-notch. We also appreciated the convenience of having a kitchenette and a washing machine, which made our stay even more convenient.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, and we had everything we needed nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at Oaks Mackay Carlyle Suites. The modern and clean rooms were a delight, with comfortable beds that ensured a good night's sleep. We were impressed by the attentive and helpful staff throughout our stay. The undercover secure parking was an added bonus. We will definitely return to this hotel for our next visit to Mackay. I highly recommend this hotel.

We spent Christmas at a hotel and had a comfortable stay. The facilities were clean and new - we particularly enjoyed the comfortable beds and the well-functioning air conditioning. The location was also convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. the staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The wifi service was quite poor - it frequently dropped out and had a limit of only three devices at a time, which was frustrating for our group of four. we found the additional charge for wifi to be quite high compared to other hotels we've stayed at.
