Traveling for work, the Oaks provided a comfortable stay for two nights. the bed and pillows were cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. Reception staff were delightful, and the room was clean with good Wi-Fi. Dining options were convenient and offered tasty meals at a reasonable price. Prompt maintenance service when needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the center of Mackay. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who were always willing to help. We loved the laundry service, it was so convenient to have clean clothes throughout our stay. The room amenities were great, with everything we needed, from ironing facilities to a mini-bar. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The hotel also had a nice dining restaurant where we enjoyed delicious meals.

We wish breakfast was included in our stay, but other than that, we didn't have any complaints. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our family.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is within walking distance of the Mackay town centre and a major shopping centre. It is fantastic to have these amenities so close by, making it convenient for families with kids.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel in the heart of Mackay and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The location of this place was brilliant, with the town centre and plenty of restaurants and cafes just a short walk away. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. Additionally, the staff at this hotel were incredibly accommodating. When I mentioned that I needed a different bed configuration for my son and myself, they quickly arranged it for us. It was such a relief to have such helpful and friendly staff.

Quiet room with great river view, modern and comfortable furnishings. Close to city centre and activities. Staff assisted in getting room ready early. Unlimited data wifi for $5/day, enjoyed Netflix. Upgraded to better room with microwave. Emily helped with wifi.

The view from my balcony at Oaks Mackay was stunning. I enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the beautiful scenery. The room itself was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy space to relax. I had a pleasant stay at Oaks and would recommend it.

Over Easter, my partner and I went on a mini-break and stayed at a hotel in the city. We were impressed by the hampers they gave us- full of Easter eggs and treats! the location was great, with plenty of nearby cafes and shops to explore. the best part of our stay was the stunning view from the balcony. We spent hours just taking in the sights!

It was quite cramped, with nowhere to put our suitcases. the bathroom was average, with only one small soap and cheap toilet tissue.

Simple room with small table and two chairs, no opening windows or balcony. Very comfortable bed, great appliances. Great location, short walk to shopping center and CBD. Friendly staff.
