This place has an absolutely amazing location, right on the riverfront with stunning views of the mountains. I loved sitting on the terrace and watching the rowers go by on the river. The service here was top-notch, with the hosts being extremely friendly and helpful. They gave great suggestions on places to visit and made us feel very welcome.

I highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The location was perfect, situated out of town but still within an easy drive to the city. The beautiful views of the river made our mornings extra special. The breakfast that was included was amazing, with a great assortment of fresh food that lasted our entire stay.

No one came to change our towels or give us any instructions about the property. the wifi connection was very poor, which made it difficult to use in the evenings.

Our recent stay at Otago Cottage was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and excellent communication from Karen, the owner. The cottage itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had stunning views of the river. We loved being able to gaze at the stars through the roof window as we drifted off to sleep. The attention to detail in the room was evident, making us feel cozy and content throughout our stay. The location, although a bit far from the city, provided a peaceful and picturesque setting. Breakfast provisions were generously provided, including gluten-free options for us. We especially appreciated Karen going above and beyond to accommodate my elderly father-in-law, ensuring his comfort and convenience. our experience at Otago Cottage exceeded all expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful and unforgettable stay.
