Wonderful waterfront location, clean and spacious room, comfortable king bed, separate laundry for guests, friendly staff, effortless check-in process.

We had a fantastic time at this beachfront hotel. The location was convenient, with a restaurant just outside where we could get meals. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a private deck offering stunning views of the ocean. The bathroom was clean and stocked with amenities. The service was outstanding, and the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. Additionally, the hotel had great facilities, including a BBQ on the deck and free Wi-Fi.

The steep access driveway, which made seeing oncoming traffic a bit challenging.

Comfortable and clean bedroom with a great view. Good amenities like a great bed, great shower, and clean facilities. Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves was a highlight. Convenient location near Fearless Freddie and a coffee shop. Amazing beach views and pelican sightings.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel by the beach. The location right on the Scamander river and with superb views of the ocean was simply breathtaking. The service was top-notch, with staff being friendly and helpful. The room amenities were excellent, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, allowing us to stay connected. We also loved the outdoor dining area and garden furniture, perfect for enjoying a meal or soaking up the sun. The hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The ocean view from our room at Pelican Sands was absolutely stunning. It was such a treat to wake up to such a beautiful sight every day. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. The shower had amazing water pressure, which was a pleasant surprise. Despite a few minor inconveniences like a dim ceiling light and limited bowls in the kitchen, our overall experience was enjoyable. The automatic check-in/out process using the keyless door pad and phone was convenient. The staff, though not physically present at reception, were easily reachable via mobile and were helpful in answering our questions. The on-site laundry facilities were also a bonus. I would recommend Pelican Sands for a pleasant and relaxing stay by the ocean.

However, the location was perfect for those looking to recharge by the sea. the reception gentleman provided helpful information on nearby places to get meals. The spacious rooms offered beautiful views, and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the kitchen area was well-equipped.

The lack of Wi-Fi in the room and the closure of the on-site restaurant were a disappointment.

Best aspects of my Christmas getaway were the great view from the room and the comfortable bed. The location was also very convenient, close to the beach and easy to get around. The private enclosed yard provided a nice outdoor space.

The outdated facilities, like the repeatedly stuck bathtub plug, and the poor sleeping arrangements that made sharing a room with another family difficult. it felt more like a rundown shack than a hotel.

Het hotel heeft een ideale locatie, op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het stadscentrum en naast het treinstation. Bij aankomst werd ik vriendelijk begroet door Davina bij de receptie, die ons een mooie route naar de oude stad liet zien en ons wees op goede eetgelegenheden. Ook de nabijheid van het treinstation maakt het handig voor reizen van en naar Brugge. Een perfecte uitvalsbasis om de stad te verkennen.

Helaas waren er enkele kleine problemen met de airconditioning in de kamer.
