I felt like royalty at that National Trust property! From the silver service breakfast to the bar in the former ballroom, I was pampered like a queen. the historical house and warm hosts made me truly feel like "kings of the castle.

The internal stairs were just too thrilling for my taste.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the hotel, especially the cozy sitting areas with beautiful antique furniture and lovely floral arrangements. the place was easy to navigate for seniors like me, with well-lit hallways and handrails in place for added safety. the soothing ambiance made me feel right at home.

Would have liked a bit more assistance from the youngsters for exploring Queenstown.

from the warm welcome at the front door to the impeccable attention to detail in our room, everything felt just perfect. Karen and Steve's hospitality was beyond amazing, making us feel like cherished guests. the history of the building combined with the stunning views created a unique and memorable experience. the breakfast, personally cooked by Steve, was a definite highlight, and the little touches like homemade fruit cake and a fully stocked bar added to the charm of our stay. We can't wait to visit again someday.

Omg, i just stayed at this place and lemme tell ya, the coziness of the rooms was chef's kiss. the breakfast was delish 😋. Only downside was the strong smell that made me skip brekky. Staff was amazing tho! .

I love staying here. the staff is so helpful; they even printed my tickets once. It has everything I need: Free Wi-Fi, parking, a bar area, and a beautiful outdoor dining spot. I keep coming back for city breaks.

During my Xmas stay, I enjoyed the comfortable bed and the cute decoration in the room. the location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and restaurants nearby. Another advantage was the fast Wi-Fi, which was perfect for streaming movies and video calls with my family.

There were some aspects that I didn't like. the room was a bit small and the bathroom looked old and outdated.
