The location of this hotel was excellent, with stunning views and easy access to the main shopping strip, restaurants, and the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and beautiful gardens. The basic amenities provided, including a kitchenette and breakfast in the apartment, made our stay convenient and enjoyable.

We got great value for our money at Port Douglas Retreat. The room had everything we needed and was really comfortable. The location was excellent, within walking distance of all the attractions and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could make the morning meal better would be to have more variety in the breakfast options.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. we were pleased with the value for money. The prices were affordable, making it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers like us. Secondly, we appreciated the attention to detail in the beautiful tropical gardens on our verandah. It created a relaxing and picturesque atmosphere. Lastly, the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay, ensuring that we felt welcomed and taken care of.

The only minor issue we encountered was with the basic amenities. Although our room had a comfy bed, we felt that the bathroom could have been cleaner.

We had a fantastic stay at this retreat. David & Joyce were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to all the main attractions like shopping, the supermarket, the wharf, restaurants. The resort itself was peaceful and quiet, ideal for couples and our group of friends. We loved the BBQ facility and the superb pool. Our ground floor room was conveniently located near the pool, and we enjoyed the slightly heated water. a great place to stay with a fantastic location and welcoming hosts.

Had a fantastic New Year's experience at this place! the staff were beyond friendly and always happy to help, making our stay extra special. the location was a huge plus - right in the heart of the action with easy access to the main shopping strip, harbour, and beach. the pool area surrounded by tropical gardens and the outdoor kitchen with bbq were fab.

The shower was on the snug side and could have had more space. having to pay extra for clean towels wasn't the usual hotel experience, we would have preferred not to worry about that on our vacation.

Set amidst the lush rainforest, this hotel is ideally located close to everything. The comfortable rooms are just a short walk from the shops and main street, yet offer a peaceful retreat in a quiet area. Guests can enjoy the warm pool and tropical gardens, creating a true oasis-like experience.

The outdated air conditioning unit in the room can be quite noisy.
