The room we stayed in was top-notch, all newly done up, super clean, with comfy beds and it had the essentials for a great holiday. Close to stores and there's a tasty pizza spot downstairs. We enjoyed the pool, especially for the little ones with its shallow part – good fun! Some nights a bit noisy from footsteps overhead, but it didn't ruin our vibe. we had a fab time and will be returning ⭐️.

clean and spacious units within a 5 min walk to dicky beach and local shops. loved the convenience of having restaurants and a chemist under the building. the surf club nearby is a must-visit for good food and friendly staff.

the apartment was spacious with a lovely balcony, perfect for afternoon unwinding. the clean and modern decor, along with the Japanese-style doors and white shutters, added a unique touch. Despite some air conditioning issues in our room, the fans kept us cool. the pool was fantastic, and the proximity to shops and restaurants was unbeatable. Friendly staff and cozy accommodations made this trip a memorable one.

We had a wonderful stay at Portobello By the Sea. the managers, Frank and Nina, were incredibly accommodating and made our experience hassle-free. They allowed us to negotiate a later check out time and promptly replaced a faulty jug in our unit. the location was perfect, with a beautiful view of the esplanade and glimpses of the water through the trees. the apartment itself was self-sufficient, comfortable, and clean, making it ideal for our family with two young kids. the highlight for the kids was the fantastic pool, which kept them entertained throughout our stay. we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning to unit 31 for future stays.

My recent stay at Portobello By The Sea was absolutely fantastic! The location couldn't have been better, with a beautiful, safe, and clean beach just across the road. We enjoyed the convenience of having a good restaurant and casual food shops downstairs. The heated pool in the middle of the complex was a delightful spot to relax, especially for families with young children. I appreciated the shelter from the wind and shaded areas for us fair-skinned folks. It truly felt like a perfect beach holiday location.

Loved the beachfront location and great pool! Ocean views from our apartment were amazing, especially for our romantic getaway. We loved being able to walk to nearby eateries and enjoy a bottle of wine from the bottle shop conveniently located next door. It was great to have basic appliances in the apartment as well.

I loved waking up in the morning and being able to step outside and have the beautiful beach just across the road. The hotel is nestled in beautifully laid out gardens, which added to the overall serene and relaxing atmosphere. The staff here were also incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay by the beach.
