Fantastic Location: Nestled atop a hill surrounded by stunning rolling countryside, our room felt like a cozy home. the homemade bread served at breakfast was a treat, just like grandma used to make. Ruth, the host, made us feel like part of the family with her warm hospitality and local tips.

Loved the secluded location with stunning valley views, Rory's top-notch host skills, and the cozy homely vibe - felt like a slice of heaven. the garden was a gem, perfect for peaceful escapes, and the freshly baked bread at brekkie was a total win. Maybe a tad closer to town would've made it even better, but honestly, can't complain - nothing got me down about this spot!

Recently stayed at a charming guesthouse in a serene setting with breathtaking views. Ruth and Rory, the warm hosts, ensured a cozy and spotless environment. the homemade bread and preserves were a delightful touch. the spacious room led to a veranda perfect for sunsets. Easy access to town for shopping and dining. Wished for a closer locale, but the peaceful escape was worth it. A hidden gem – don't want it overbooked!

staying at shambhala guesthouse was a truly restful experience. the owners rory and ruth exceeded our expectations with their friendly service. the cozy rooms and stunning views, along with the delightful garden, made us feel right at home. breakfast, especially the homemade bread, was a highlight. overall, a charming and comfortable retreat that we can't wait to revisit.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The location was perfect, nestled on a small farm close to town, with stunning views of the beautiful rural area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with big showers and all the necessary amenities. The hosts were welcoming and provided exceptional service. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly baked homemade bread and locally sourced jams. We also enjoyed exploring the expansive gardens and relaxing on the awesome big balcony.

The only small downside was the lack of a patch of lawn to sit outside on at night, to gaze at the stars.

The breakfast was mind-blowing with fresh homemade bread and jams from Little Hill Farm. the stunning SUNSET VIEWS, comfortable super king-size bed, and welcoming hosts made our stay super memorable.

Beautiful home, attentive hosts, roaring fireplace, expansive gardens, comfortable house.

Shambhala Guesthouse provided a cozy and relaxing escape from the stormy weather. The welcoming log fire in the lounge area was a perfect spot to unwind, read, and enjoy the delicious cheeses and charcuterie we brought with us. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches made our stay comfortable and memorable. The view from the covered verandah was breathtaking, and we can only imagine how enjoyable it would be on a warmer day. We highly recommend this wonderful retreat. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated every aspect of our stay here. The location of this place high on a hill provided breathtaking views of the surroundings. The service that we received from the staff was exceptional, from the warm welcome to the attentive hospitality throughout our stay. The room amenities, including the ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea/coffee facilities, ensured that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We also loved the sitting area on the terrace, where we could relax and soak in the beauty of the garden. The free wi-fi in the rooms was a convenient addition that allowed us to stay connected during our trip. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning, and the homemade jams/marmalades at breakfast were divine. the country-style rooms were cosy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Location-wise, it was a perfect choice for a weekend away from the bustle of the city.

Although we enjoyed the experience, the location was quite remote, so having a car is definitely necessary. there were no toiletries in the bathroom, so make sure to bring your own.
