During my recent stay at a charming 17th-century coaching inn, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room and the comfort it provided with two double beds. It was also convenient to have tea/coffee making facilities and bottled water available. Despite being an old building, the room was well-maintained and equipped with a fan and small heater, ensuring a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast prices were very reasonable, adding to the overall value of the stay. The innkeeper, Julie, was incredibly pleasant and accommodating throughout my visit, making me feel welcome and well taken care of.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious with two comfortable double beds. It was clean and had all the necessary facilities such as tea/coffee making amenities and bottled water. The staff were very accommodating, even during a power cut, and managed to make us a cup of tea after our long journey. The location was scenic and had a lovely beer garden to relax in. The breakfast was well-priced and set me up for the day. The staff were pleasant and the beer was good.

Attending a wedding nearby, we had a perfect stay at The Wheatsheaf Inn. They happily accommodated our early check-in and the room was lovely. The pub downstairs served delicious food and drinks, and the service was friendly. The room was clean, spacious, and had a fan to keep us cool on a hot day. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent, and we enjoyed sitting in the pleasant garden area. The two lovely ladies who run the inn made our stay exceptional. Highly recommend!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with extra attention given to cleanliness. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast, with a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. the inn offers convenient facilities such as a convenience store, Indian restaurant/takeaway, and a coffee stall nearby.

Traffic noise in the morning can be expected due to the inn's proximity to a main road.

I had a tip-top, fabulous experience at the Wheatsheaf Inn. the food was excellent, with a great selection of beers and wines. the hospitality was top-notch, and the staff treated us like friends, not just guests. the room, although small, was clean and comfortable for our two-night stay. the pub itself was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast provided a good variety of vegetarian and vegan options. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Couldn't stay longer 😔

I recently stayed at the Wheatsheaf Inn for a few days while visiting family. The location was perfect, right on the main road but surprisingly quiet. The breakfast, although a bit pricey, was outstanding. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the rooms were tastefully decorated. The powerful shower with ample hot water was a bonus. I also appreciated the separate entry to my room, away from the busy bar and restaurant area. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained and the outdoor seating area was a lovely spot to relax. The bar had a great selection of beers and overall, I would highly recommend the Wheatsheaf Inn.
