our experience at sorell barracks was amazing. it exceeded our expectations from our previous stay in sorell. the cottage was clean and had everything we needed, the location was great and the extra supplies were a nice touch.

Close to airport, historic building with Victorian charm, comfortable and well-equipped, helpful and friendly hosts, walking distance to shops, clean cottage with comfortable bed and electric blankets.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The room was a bit cramped and far from charming. the microwave was oddly positioned and difficult to use.

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming accommodation in Sorell. The historic building exuded character and made me feel right at home. The kitchenette in my self-contained cabin was impressively equipped, and the breakfast basket provided was a true highlight. I also appreciated the off-street parking and the convenience of being within walking distance to shops. The location, just one block back from the main street, offered a peaceful and pleasant environment. I highly recommend this hidden gem for its cozy atmosphere and excellent value.

As a solo traveler, I loved the beautifully maintained old building with a lovely historical period feel to it. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and charming in style. The bathroom was huge, and the in-room spa bath was a fantastic treat. The host was very helpful and available over the phone for any queries. The breakfast basket and tea/coffee basket provided were a delightful surprise, and the food in the morning was delicious. The location was convenient, with only a 20-minute drive to Hobart city. a unique and enjoyable experience.
