our experience at sorell barracks was amazing. it exceeded our expectations from our previous stay in sorell. the cottage was clean and had everything we needed, the location was great and the extra supplies were a nice touch.

Steep stairs not ideal for young families.

The accommodation was conveniently located near the airport and close to shops. We enjoyed the provided breakfast basket. It was a pleasant surprise.

The room was a bit cramped and far from charming. the microwave was oddly positioned and difficult to use.

Cozy atmosphere, comfy bed with plump pillows. Warm welcome, shown room and facilities. Comprehensive breakfast in room, abundant tea and coffee. Lovely bathroom with walk-in shower, separate toilets, toiletries and hair dryer. Super friendly hosts, happy to help with luggage and provide information.

As a solo traveler, I loved the beautifully maintained old building with a lovely historical period feel to it. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and charming in style. The bathroom was huge, and the in-room spa bath was a fantastic treat. The host was very helpful and available over the phone for any queries. The breakfast basket and tea/coffee basket provided were a delightful surprise, and the food in the morning was delicious. The location was convenient, with only a 20-minute drive to Hobart city. a unique and enjoyable experience.
