the peaceful location, comfortable bed, and excellent service at this picturesque retreat in Pokolbin exceeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, even organizing a romantic picnic in the vineyard where I proposed to my partner. We enjoyed a fantastic room service breakfast and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise.

Everything is what I need and want.

The breakfast was excellent, with an impressive à la carte menu, definitely better than the usual buffet options. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all amenities. We were also pleased with its location, which was easily accessible to the attractions in the area. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The property had its drawbacks. Our suite was facing south and was too dark, with only two windows on one side of the wall. The ensuite resembled more of a cold space than a luxury bathroom, with inadequate heating and ineffective plugs. Furthermore, the overall decor looked outdated.

From the moment I arrived, I was met with outstanding service. The staff always made sure that all of my luxurious and exclusive amenities needs were met, from the in-room breakfast to the packed lunches and special diet menus. The outdoor swimming pool and garden area were well-maintained and such a great place to relax. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the vineyards and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

That the room I stayed in was a bit outdated, which slightly detracted from the overall luxurious atmosphere of the hotel. However, this was a minor issue and didn't take away from the fantastic service, amazing food, and beautiful surroundings.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful estate. The staff at Spicers were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room I stayed in was perfect, with a sublime spa bath and a spacious bathroom. I loved the thoughtful extras in the room, like the free mini bar, board games, books, and evening cocktail. The pool was also stunning and provided a relaxing atmosphere with the spa. The restaurant, Botanica, was impressive and offered great value. The staff at the restaurant were also fantastic. the friendly hospitality and personal touches throughout made for a wonderful experience.
