The lodge offered tastefully decorated cottages with comfortable beds and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The infinity pool was a highlight, providing a relaxing spot to enjoy the Kruger surrounds. The hosts were warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure guests had an amazing experience.

There were no phones in the rooms, making it difficult to communicate or call for assistance in case of emergencies. The lack of cell service or internet in the rooms also limited communication options.

our stay in grietjie game reserve was already amazing, but mbizi bush lodge took it to a whole new level. the hosts, diwya and bjorn, made us feel like family and the vegan meals diwya cooked were beyond inspiring. bjorn's passion for the game drives was contagious, and we were lucky enough to see wildlife right from the lodge's terrace. it was an unforgettable experience.
