Not one thing.

Great location with good dining options nearby. the hotel is clean, old but well-maintained, offering excellent value for money. the rooms are comfortable with a ceiling fan and proper fly screens, ensuring a pleasant stay. the pub downstairs has delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. Free parking is a plus, and luggage storage was convenient during my trip.

No tea/coffee making facilities. Extra facewash would help.

The food was a delightful surprise! Even if it had been hippos serving burgers, it would still have been a feast! the pub’s menu truly satisfied every quirky craving, from delicious steaks to vegetarian options, making dining a joy and a culinary adventure.

Some bathroom logistics tricky.

Absolutely loved the private room! It felt so cozy with a comfortable bed. the cleanliness was impressive, and there was ample space to unwind. With its peaceful location and nice street views, it was perfect for a relaxing stay. Plus, having my own bathroom was a huge bonus!

The temperature could be a bit chilly at times; maybe some softer blankets would help.

I had a great New Year stay! The location was perfect, super close to shops and cafés, which made grabbing breakfast a breeze. The room was clean, comfy, and really cozy for the chilly nights. Plus, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The bar downstairs offered tasty food and drinks, which was a nice bonus to wrap up the night. One downside was the street light shining right into my room, which made it tricky to sleep well. it would’ve been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room for a morning pick-me-up.

had a great stay for a couple of nights, much better than my last visit in launceston. the room was clean, bright, and spacious, really exceeded my expectations. loved the close proximity to shops and the bar below was a nice bonus for food and drinks.

Our spacious and spotless room provided a relaxing environment. the nearby attractions, like Cataract Gorge and City Park, were perfect for bonding time. the great bar and café added to our overall experience; we’ll definitely return!

the room was clean and spacious. the location was great - just a 10-15 min walk to the main shopping mall. lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. the pub food was good - especially with the specials menu outside. the staff were super friendly and helpful - making a great first impression.

I had a fantastic stay, with clean and comfortable rooms in a very nice part of Launceston, close to shops and great eateries. the friendly bar staff and the delicious food made my experience even better. the soundproofing could definitely be improved, as noise from the bar below and late-night traffic could be distracting for light sleepers.

I always return because the staff helped me with my suitcases on my first stay. This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, a bar, and a restaurant. I love coming back for my business trips!

Mate, the hot and cold sandwiches nearby are totally epic! Kosaten's sushi and Cafe Mondello's brekkie vibes are a must-try. Plus, the location’s golden for hitting up shops and the cheerful bar staff will make your day!

On the flip, the noise from other guests and street traffic can be a bit much, and that orange streetlight? Bright enough to double as a nightlight!
