LOVED the quiet forest setting, comfy beds, and easy parking.

we found the self-contained kitchen at Big4 Strahan Holiday Retreat very convenient, allowing us to prepare our own meals. the location was great, with a short walk to town and a peaceful stream on the property. Despite a slight issue with accessibility, we appreciated the serene surroundings and easy access to nearby amenities.

Nothing not to like 😞

The cabin was really spacious and the shower was excellent. Molly's place and the liquor store on-site were convenient for meals. the games room was a hit with my son and husband, providing hours of entertainment. the location was excellent, surrounded by lovely wrens and even a visit from a brush-tailed possum.

The Retreat Double Cabins are super cozy, perfect for a romantic getaway. I loved having my own bathroom for extra privacy and relaxation. the location surrounded by nature was so peaceful, making me feel truly rejuvenated.

The check-in process felt a bit impersonal, but it didn't affect our overall stay.

One aspect that stood out during my stay at this hotel was the excellent value for money. Despite being reasonably priced, the hotel provided spacious rooms with some cooking facilities, including a kitchenette with hotplates, microwave, and mini fridge. It was great to have the option to prepare our own meals. Additionally, the room had a comfortable sofa, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

All in all, this hotel provided a wonderful experience and I couldn't fault it.

Nothing could have been better.

I was pleasantly surprised by the well-maintained property and the caring staff at Big4 Strahan Holiday Retreat. While our unit was located near a busy roundabout, the management quickly addressed any concerns we had and we adapted to the noise. The highlight of our stay was the trip up the river and a ride on the Wilderness train, which I highly recommend to all visitors.

The cottage we stayed in had a great location near the town center and supermarket. It was clean and the beds were comfortable enough for a group. the kitchen and bathroom were in good condition.

There was only one bathroom for a big group. So it became almost impossible to keep cleanliness.

The WiFi signal doesn't reach the cabin, but considering the remote location, it's understandable.
