we checked into sturt motel for a spur, of, the, moment stay and were pleasantly surprised. our room was spotlessly clean with thoughtful extras like specialty teas and bottled water. the location was fantastic, a short stroll to the river and local shops and eateries. the reception staff, deb and jo, were welcoming and well, experienced in hospitality. Cons: absolutely satisfied 😊.

I appreciated the attentive staff providing essentials like insect repellent. the family room was a bonus, although noise from the nearby truck wash was slightly bothersome. a solid choice for a comfortable stay.

Convenient single-story rooms, near a park. Easy walk to town. Clean unit with queen bed, spacious bathroom, good TV, and internet. Friendly staff and nearby coffee shop. Satisfaction guaranteed for a riverside stay.

Had a quick stay, but found the staff friendly and the facilities fine. Enjoyed having a coffee shop and an information center close by for convenience. the room was well equipped for the price, spotlessly clean, and had nice extras like specialty teas and bottled water.

The room I stayed in was noisy due to its proximity to a car wash that operated late and early. the cleaning was subpar with hair on the bathroom floor, used soap left in the shower, and wet plates.

Balranald, nestled on the Murrumbidgee River, was a charming base for exploring Mungo National Park. The Sturt Motel, although 1970s style, offered a comfortable stay with a clean room, good amenities, and friendly service. Close to town center and eateries, it was a convenient choice. Despite some minor issues, like the misleading room size and lack of a bath, our overall experience was enjoyable and hassle-free.

Spotlessly clean! ! Hot shower, soft lovely towels. Great location for access to river and local shops and restaurants. After a long day, the air conditioning was like a gentle hug, lulling me to sleep like a baby in a cozy little nest.

the staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. the rooms were well-kept, with efficient housekeeping and comfortable amenities. the outdoor swimming pool was a nice touch, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. the hotel's location was also convenient, within walking distance of local shops and attractions like the Balranald Art Gallery and Murrumbidgee Junction.

the lighting outside the rooms was a bit bright, which might bother some guests who prefer a darker sleep environment.

The spotless rooms and convenient location near the river and local amenities were the highlights of my stay at this motel. the air-conditioning unit was noisy and didn't fully reach the bed area, which impacted the comfort levels during the hot weather.

Stayed 3 nights, PERFECT base for Lake Mungo tours, clean brilliant room with spacious bathroom, helpful accommodating staff, easy walk to shops and river.

Swimming pool saved me from the scorching heat. Garden gave me a little taste of tranquility. BBQ facilities - I was the grill master!

It was so fun waking up to my private morning concerts by the car wash.
