We had an amazing stay at this luxurious retreat. The location was perfect, with its close proximity to the famous vineyards. The hotel provided top-notch amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy sitting area. The views of the Tamar River were absolutely sensational. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the owner went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable experience. We enjoyed using the BBQ and outdoor seating area, and the breakfast items provided were a delightful bonus. The free WIFI was also a great perk.

We would highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

The Tamar River Retreat in Kayena was a beautiful and comfortable stay. The stunning lake view gardens, friendly host, and home-like atmosphere made it one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. We loved the proximity to famous vineyards and the tranquil Tamar River right outside the window. The amazing breakfast and free WIFI were also much appreciated.

The breakfast provisions here exceeded my expectations, with plenty of food and drinks to choose from. The location was also perfect, with easy access to multiple nearby towns and stunning views of the river. the vintage cottage was surrounded by lush greenery that added to the serene and peaceful atmosphere.

While I appreciated the vintage aspect of the cottage, it did make it hard to keep warm during the colder winter months. Even with a reverse cycle aircon and small heaters, the interior could still be quite chilly.
