Recently celebrated our 6th anniversary at this charming spot in Tea Gardens. Great location near the ferry to Nelson Bay, lovely thoughtfulness from staff, clean and spacious room with a nautical theme, easy check, in, and proximity to local attractions. A family, friendly hotel with a playground, delicious wood, fired pizzas, and renovated family rooms, perfect for parents.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

we had a lovely stay at our recent accommodation in Tea Gardens. the room was cozy and stylish, providing all the necessary amenities. the staff were welcoming and offered great dining suggestions. the location was perfect for exploring local attractions like the ferry to Nelson Bay. we even spotted a dolphin during our ferry ride!

The room was mint, and we had a blast chilling at the pub with live music. the staff were sick and always looked out for us.

Wish there were more late-night activities besides the pub.

Family room with queen bed and bunk bed, recently renovated and had cute children's books. Hotel had a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean accommodations with newly upgraded furniture. Delicious food and the lemon/lime cheesecake was a standout. Great spot with good hotel facilities, reasonably priced food, and Saturday night entertainment. Clean and comfortable room, friendly and professional staff. Outdoor furniture near the room could have been more comfortable. Impressed with the quick preparation of good quality meals by the bistro staff. Loved the location.

For the price, we got great value and a cozy, nicely decorated room that was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal, with the hotel situated right on the riverside and close to restaurants and shops. The staff, especially Publican Ben, were friendly and down-to-earth, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety and options to cater to different preferences.

I absolutely adored the cozy and traditional decor of the hotel, especially the charming bistro area with its warm ambiance and inviting atmosphere. the easy accessibility of the hotel's main areas made it perfect for seniors like me to move around comfortably without any hassle.

Better consideration for senior guests when it comes to noise levels from live music or late-night activities by the children working there.

The double room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. It provided both a ceiling fan and AC, which was awesome. the location was perfect, close to the river and beach, and there were plenty of restaurants around.

It gave me food poisoning, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. the walls were very thin, and we could hear everything from the noisy family staying next door.

We had a pleasant stay in a centrally located hotel, close to Coles supermarket and in the heart of the town. Our room was clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and blankets. The hotel offered a range of activities, including live music, a playground for kids, and free hire of bikes and paddleboards. The restaurant served delicious food, including a tempting dessert menu.

The service could have been more attentive.

The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and have a charming nautical theme. Additionally, the staff is friendly and offers good room maintenance throughout your stay.

One negative aspect is the quality of the food from the bistro.

The rooms at this hotel are absolutely outstanding. From the beautiful cane furniture to the plush bed and highest quality linens, every attention to detail has been taken care of. The timber flooring adds a touch of elegance and the flat screen TV is a nice touch. Not to mention the lovely extra touches like nice soaps and tea/coffee making facilities, including fresh milk in the mini bar. It truly feels like staying at a boutique luxury holiday resort, but for a fraction of the price.

All in all, everything at this hotel was more than satisfactory.
