Despite being above a pub, the room was quiet. the friendly staff and proximity to landmarks like Bronte Park and Gordons Bay provided ample opportunities for relaxation and family bonding.

Enjoyed a sensory journey through tasty pub classics and sea-based eats. Watched live sports comfortably. My kids had their mini feast while I savored cocktails. the fun activities in-and-around were a bonus.

Heard cheers and loud music from the so-called sports bar, making my sleep sound like a party night out.

One minor thing that could be improved is the level of noise from the sports bar, which can get a bit crowded and noisy at times. the bar closes early, so it didn't disrupt our sleep.

The king family room was spacious and tastefully decorated, providing ample space for three people. The sofa bed was not only spacious but also fairly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Despite being part of a larger hotel and pub, the rooms were quiet, allowing for a peaceful and safe stay. The staff, particularly Katie, the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. With easy access to the city via the bus network and a great cafe nearby for breakfast and lunch, the location couldn't have been better. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the noise from the al-fresco dining and bar at night and the difficulty in getting hold of reception staff at times, the overall experience was highly satisfactory. I would definitely recommend Clovelly for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Sydney.

The lack of basic hotel facilities like 24 concierge and room service. It was also inconvenient having to go down to the public bar to eat and having to bring our own food up the stairs.
