Exceptional New Year dinner, great food, first-class waiter service, friendly and efficient staff, clean and well-maintained hotel.

Everything was spot on.

The hotel is perfectly located just outside Stockport centre on the main A6 trunk road, making it convenient for travel. The staff at this hotel are extremely friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms, while showing a slightly dated style, are clean and spacious, with nice big tables for added convenience. Considering the value for money, the prices for accommodation are very reasonable, particularly with breakfast included at £85. Speaking of breakfast, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food, with decent ingredients that left us very happy with our meals.

All aspects of our stay were more than satisfactory.

Located in a great area, Alma Lodge Hotel offers a lovely Italian restaurant called Luigi's with excellent evening meals. Guests have praised the Italian cuisine, describing it as very, very good. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with ensuite bathrooms that have all the necessary amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful, making your stay more enjoyable. The breakfast is also highly rated, with a good variety of options to choose from.

The value for money at this hotel is fantastic. With a complimentary English breakfast included, it's a great deal. The staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The location is ideal, situated just outside the city center, with easy access to town and the motorway. Plus, there is plenty of parking available.

The hotel does have some areas for improvement, but overall, everything was ok.

The venue was perfect for my daughter's wedding, with beautiful rooms and a great location. The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make sure everything was perfect for the big day. The rooms were clean and tidy, providing a comfortable stay.

Having to move rooms on the day of the wedding, which caused some inconvenience and added stress. It would have been great if there was a dedicated room for brides to get ready, eliminating the need to move belongings.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location was convenient, as it was close to transportation into Manchester city centre and the airport. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and there was ample parking available. I was also impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast provided had a wide selection of delicious foods, and I was particularly keen on the restaurant attached to the hotel. this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, transportation, and staff.

Couldn't stay longer.

Had a great Xmas break. the complementary mulled wine and mince pies were a lovely touch. the hotel was conveniently located near plenty of shops and restaurants. the bed was super comfy which made for a great night's sleep.

Our room was quite noisy, which made it hard to sleep. the water from the taps tasted terrible so we had to buy bottled water.

The hotel is conveniently located on the outskirts of central Manchester, providing easy access to the city center. Several areas are easily reachable thanks to the good bus service. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with amenities like hot drinks available. The staff were friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to assist guests.

The restaurant at the hotel impressed me with its excellent food, and Roberto, one of the staff members, stood out for his exceptional service. I was truly looked after throughout my stay.
