We recently stayed at a hotel in Corio called Nightcap At Gateway and had a pleasant experience. The room was sparkling clean and spacious, and we were impressed with the recent renovations, especially the new bathroom. The mattresses were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Despite being located near a sports ground and stadium, it was surprisingly quiet at night. All the appliances in the room were brand new, except for the lack of a microwave. However, we were able to order food online and have it delivered to our room, which was convenient. The hotel's location was also commendable, with nearby amenities such as a playground, McDonald's, and KFC.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was also fantastic, set far back from the street and away from any noise or disturbances. The rooms were clean and cozy, with comfortable beds that made for a restful night's sleep. And the breakfast provided was delicious and included in the reasonable price. a great value for money stay!

The Gateway Hotel Corio is conveniently located near shops and is easily accessible to Avalon airport. The rooms are spacious with fully renovated bathrooms. The staff is friendly and there are complimentary coffee, tea, and milk available. The buffet-style restaurant offers a good choice and quality of food. The setting is very quiet, away from the main road.

The air-conditioning unit in the rooms is outdated and can be loud at night.

Not one thing.

We loved our recent stay at the hotel just on the edge of Geelong. The location was perfect and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly in every area of the hotel. We were greeted by a lovely young lady upon our arrival, and the All You Can Eat bistro was a great dining option for us. We were able to pick and choose what we wanted to eat, and enjoyed as much as we felt comfortable having. The bar and gaming room provided great facilities and the staff were attentive. The motel room, although old style, was surprisingly comfortable and clean. We were impressed by the breakfast pack provided, which had a delicious continental breakfast. The cleaning staff were also thorough and ensured our room was properly cleaned for our use. We would highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends, and we look forward to staying again in the future.

The beds were spacious and relatively comfy, plus the rooms were well-cleaned. The location was extremely convenient, with nearby attractions and easy access to public transportation. , the option to watch Netflix on the TV was a bonus.

The noisy air conditioning unit made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the staff was not very helpful.
