We stayed for a week for a hockey event and loved every bit of Lakes Resort. the secure compound provided a safe feeling. the breakfast was outstanding, and the Thai restaurant was top-notch. the room had lovely homely touches, including a handy coffee machine. the lap pool was perfect for sunny days, and the staff, especially Tegan, were friendly and helpful.

Strongly recommend this hotel.

Just got back from a stay near Port Douglas with fantastic diving spots. LOVED the spacious room! Staff were friendly. Beautiful outdoor dining area. Would return for sure. the pool looks even better than in photos! 😍

I loved my recent stay at The Lakes Cairns Resort & Spa. The apartment I stayed in was spacious and well-equipped with all the facilities I needed. Having a washing machine and tumble dryer was a great convenience. The resort had multiple beautiful swimming pools, and even though I couldn't nab a sunbed at the main pool, the helpful staff directed me to a quieter pool where I could relax. The lush gardens and lagoons were truly breathtaking. Despite being a bit far from town, I discovered that it was a blessing in disguise as I preferred the tranquility of the resort over the busy city. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

We had a great stay at this family-friendly resort nestled in beautiful gardens with multiple pools. The apartment was spacious with a large kitchen, dining area, and comfortable beds. We loved the balcony with outdoor furniture and lovely views of palm trees. The location was convenient, being close to the airport for easy transfers and a short walk to the city center along the waterfront. The resort also offered airport transfers and had a guest lounge for early arrivals and departures.

The front desk staff seemed too busy selling tours and add-ons, which made check-in and check-out a bit challenging.

The hotel's facilities were also impressive, with a leisure swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, and even live entertainment. this place exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, quality services, and location.
