We stayed for a week for a hockey event and loved every bit of Lakes Resort. the secure compound provided a safe feeling. the breakfast was outstanding, and the Thai restaurant was top-notch. the room had lovely homely touches, including a handy coffee machine. the lap pool was perfect for sunny days, and the staff, especially Tegan, were friendly and helpful.

The apartment was huge and super clean, with awesome pools for everyone to enjoy. We loved chilling by the pools with snacks from the BBQ area. the check-in process was a bit confusing at first, and the extra camp bed wasn't as comfy as we hoped. overall, the place was cozy, perfect for our family vacay! 🏖️.

I loved my recent stay at The Lakes Cairns Resort & Spa. The apartment I stayed in was spacious and well-equipped with all the facilities I needed. Having a washing machine and tumble dryer was a great convenience. The resort had multiple beautiful swimming pools, and even though I couldn't nab a sunbed at the main pool, the helpful staff directed me to a quieter pool where I could relax. The lush gardens and lagoons were truly breathtaking. Despite being a bit far from town, I discovered that it was a blessing in disguise as I preferred the tranquility of the resort over the busy city. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

I always return here for my city trips as it has everything: Wi-Fi, free parking, a saltwater pool, and VIP check-in/out. I remember the staff kindly returning my forgotten hairbrush. the outdoor dining area, tennis court, and children's play area make it perfect for me.
