Delightful hotel, well-designed pool, excellent staff, good location, comfortable room, amazing cafe.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel in a perfect room. The attention to detail was impressive, and the pool and garden area were beautifully designed. The location was fantastic, close to everything in town. The hotel staff were helpful and delightful. I highly recommend this hotel.

We got great value for our money with a good-sized, comfortable room and a fantastic breakfast. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring Nelson Bay, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous location, just a short walk from the main street and marina. Fantastic room with excellent amenities and a clean and quiet environment. Heated pool was a perfect alternative to the cold ocean. The onsite cafe/restaurant, The Little Nel, offered fabulous food. Helpful staff, particularly the man at reception who went above and beyond to assist with trip planning.

Some guests have mentioned that the walls may be a bit thin, as they were able to hear noise from the next room.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Here, I really enjoyed the central location by the harbour, opposite the marina. The staff were super friendly and gave us great customer service from the beginning till the end. Plus, they have a leisure swimming pool and a heated swimming pool, which I found very enjoyable.

I recently stayed at Hotel Nelson for a few days and it was amazing! The location was perfect, with beautiful views and close proximity to everything. The facilities were top-notch, and the recently refurbished rooms were of a high standard. I loved having a toaster, kettle, and microwave in the room, which made it easy to prepare breakfast or snacks. The staff was outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They were friendly, professional, and made us feel right at home. a fantastic experience that I will definitely be bringing my family back to enjoy.

We had a fantastic romantic escape! the complimentary breakfasts were a great way to start each morning. We also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine, which added to the romantic vibe. the location was perfect, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. the stunning views of the marina and ocean from our room were breathtaking!

We also found it concerning that the pool was open at night with no lighting, making it quite dangerous to swim.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the town centre, making it easy to access a variety of restaurants and pubs. it is situated right near the marina, allowing for easy access to water activities. guests can enjoy being close to all the shops and restaurants in the area.

The housekeeping trolleys left right outside the room door at times were quite noisy.
