We had a lovely stay at this charming Tuscan-inspired villa located right by a sheltered bay outside the village of Howden. The room was spacious and comfortable, with great views of the surroundings. The staff, especially Sarah, were very accommodating and attentive, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and coffee in the beautiful dining area. The location was perfect for walks along the beach and a short drive to the Salamanca markets.

The lack of nearby eateries was a downside, but the beautiful surroundings made up for it.

Although the hotel is set in a beautiful location surrounded by gardens, it was hard to access without a car. the fire alarm went off during one of our meals, disrupting our experience momentarily.

Le propriétaire est très serviable et s'occupe du ménage et du changement des draps deux fois par semaine. Le jardin est un véritable havre de paix avec un citronnier, idéal pour se détendre. De plus, la douche est puissante et agréable.

We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Villa Howden. The cozy common lounge with the open fire was the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of local wine. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. But what really stood out was the exceptional service from the polite and attentive staff.

One evening, after a long day exploring, we were looking forward to relaxing by the pool. Although it wasn't very warm in winter, the tired pool area could have used a bit of love.
