I recently stayed at the Waterfront Lodge Motel for one night before starting the Overland walk. Despite being a budget motel, the room was surprisingly comfortable and convenient. I was pleasantly surprised to find a couch, table and chairs, and even a microwave in the room. The staff were also incredibly helpful when I had an issue with my room key and quickly resolved the problem. The motel is located not too far from supermarkets and the CBD, making it a convenient choice. a very nice and affordable place to stay.

Excellent value for money with lovely fresh breakfast. The location is perfect, close to shops but also in a peaceful area by the beautiful river Derwent. The rooms are well equipped and allow for privacy with suitcases off the bed.

Nothing that I didn't like.

Well, it was a Thanksgiving to forget. the location was convenient to the city, but the noisy neighbors made sleeping difficult. the only decent aspect was the free parking.

Where do we start? the mattress smelled musty, and the AC was broken.

The staff at Waterfront Lodge Motel were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. From offering us a smaller room at a reduced price to their overall service, we were highly impressed. Additionally, the easy access to bus and shopping made our stay convenient.
